Narka Rural High School 55 year class gathers

Narka Rural High School Class of 1962 celebrated the 55th class reunion over Memorial weekend This was the last graduating class of Narka Rural High School. Thursday was a girls’ luncheon at the Feathered Nest in Belleville. Saturday night dinner was at Acreage Steakhouse in Hubbell, Neb.

On Sunday the group attended the Narka Rural High School Alumni Banquet at the Denton Hall in Narka. All spouses attended the occasion. Two mothers attended: Wilma Cerny, Fairbury, who is 101 years old, and Mary Cerny, of Belleville, who is 99 years old. The only class member unable to attend was Karen( Holly) Travis, Castle Rock, Colo.
