Buff linksters finish 4th at state

The Republic County High School golf team finished fourth on Monday at the Class 2A State Golf Tournament at Garden City.

As a team the Buffs carded a two round total of 363. Salina Sacred Heart won the state championship with a 309. They were followed by Pittsburg St. Mary's at 316 and Prairie Village Christian at 339. Finishing behind Republic County in the team totals were Plainville at 369, Hillsboro 375, WaKeeney 381, Sr. John- Hudson 410, Johnson- Stanton County 422, Meade 429, Hoxie 432 and Lyndon 530.
