Sarah Richecky was a student at Cuba/Hillcrest. Her mother, Mary Parry, was a reading recovery teacher at the school. Richecky said she struggled at school to remember not to call her mother “Mom.

” The pair are together again, this time as teachers at Republic County Elementary. The struggle continues. “The hardest thing at school is not calling her 'Mom',” said Richecky, a first grade teacher. Richecky said she decided to become a teacher after watching and helping her mom.
