Another first place finish

The Republic County High School played a hot had on a warm day Monday, winning their own nine team invitational at The Belleville Country Club. The Buffs out shot the second place team by 58 strokes for the deciding win. As a team RCHS carded a four-man 18-hole total of 338. Thayer Central was second with a 396, followed by Southeast of Saline at 432 and Concordia with a 453.
Trey Kuhlman was one of two medalists for the Buffs, finishing second with a 78. He was followed by Justin Tietjen who was third one stroke back at 79. Rounding out four-man play for the team from Belleville was Kendsey Johnson, 14th with an 89 and Harlan Reed, 18th with a 92. Logan Waite, 25th with a 96 and McKenzie Cromwell, 44th at 112 also competed on the varsity level. Republic County also fielded a junior varsity tam in the home invitational finishing 18 hole six-man play at 709.
